Binh is a co-founder and General Partner of AVV. Before AVV, he co-founded 500 Startups Vietnam, where he led 40+ seed investments, including Turing (AI infrastructure unicorn), ELSA (edtech backed by Google), and Mudflap (fintech). Earlier, he co-founded and served as CTO of San Francisco-based Klout, the Kleiner-backed social analytics pioneer acquired for over US$200 million in 2014. An operator-turned-investor who has shipped more than 20 software products and raised capital in both Silicon Valley and Asia, Binh now lives in Ho Chi Minh City with his wife and two children, advising founders on cross-border growth, AI-driven execution, and capital strategy.

Eddie is a co-founder and General Partner of AVV. Eddie has nearly 20 years of experience in tech, media, and telecommunications, including 10+ years in VC. Before AVV, he co-founded 500 Startups Vietnam, where he led 30+ seed investments, including ApplyBoard (edtech; unicorn), Trusting Social (fintech; Sequoia), Axie Infinity (web3 gaming unicorn; a16z), and Base (enterprise SaaS; acquired). Earlier, he worked on strategy and M&A for companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and Asia. Eddie received degrees from Harvard and Yale. He has lived in Vietnam since 2012, now with his wife and son.

Hau is a Partner at AVV with nearly a decade of experience in startup investment and support. With AVV, she has focused on founder support, including the firm’s SHINE initiatives supporting female entrepreneurs. Previously, with 500 Startups Vietnam, Hau managed three accelerator programs and was the junior lead on deals including Base (enterprise SaaS; acquired), Axie Infinity (NFT gaming; a16z), and Pique (e-commerce enabler; acquired). Born and raised in Hanoi, Hau moved to Ho Chi Minh City after college, where she still lives, now with her husband and son.

Adrian is a Partner at AVV, managing the firm’s operations and finance functions. He has 14+ years of experience in market expansion and operations in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Before joining AVV, he was a 2x co-founder, including Compliy, a Regtech100 compliance automation SaaS platform for financial institutions in APAC. Earlier, Adrian launched markets for Uber and Rocket Internet (Zalora, Easy Taxi) in Vietnam and Indonesia. Adrian received a degree from Yale. He has lived in Vietnam for 10+ years and is fluent in Vietnamese.

Mimi is a Senior Associate at AVV, focused on People and Operations. She supports the firm’s recruitment, L&D, and administration. She also coordinates programs such as SHINE (the firm’s women-focused program). Previously, she operated three batches of the Saola Accelerator at 500 Startups Vietnam. Earlier, she had broad operational experience at Topica Edtech Group and Misfit (acquired by Fossil Group).

Michael is a Manager at AVV focused on branding and communications. He has been based in Ho Chi Minh City since 2010 and has over a decade of experience in journalism and media in the country, including as former Editor-in-Chief of Saigoneer, a Fund 1 portfolio company. He also created and writes the well-regarded Vietnam Weekly newsletter, covering the economy, urban development, and more.

Natalie is Legal Counsel at AVV, where she handles deal execution and related legal matters. With over 10 years of legal experience, she previously worked as in-house counsel at East Ventures and at Indomobil Group, one of Indonesia’s leading conglomerates. She began her career at HHR Lawyers Indonesia and is a licensed advocate. Natalie lives in Jakarta with her husband, also a lawyer.
