Analysts share their insights regarding investment into edtech (education technology) startups in Vietnam during the opening months of 2024 and their thoughts on the future.

Vietnam-based BlokID, a developer of blockchain-powered privacy protection solutions, has raised US$1.25 million in a seed round led by AVV and AppWorks.

Seattle-based Outreach, a startup that specializes in sales intelligence, said it’s valued at $4.2 billion after its latest round of financing, more than triple what it was worth last year.

Binh Tran and Eddie Thai, general partners at 500 Startups Vietnam, have launched a separate venture firm called Ascend Vietnam Ventures that seeks to invest in 25 local startups and others across the region over the next three years.
